THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING HENRY ANDERSON MUSIC SCHOOL AS YOUR MUSIC EDUCATION PROVIDER. PLEASE REVIEW OUR LESSON POLICIES PRIOR TO STARTING LESSONS.
1. Lesson Details
Lessons occur in 30 minute, 45 minute, or 1 hour lengths. Lessons occur once a week at the same time every week, unless you have made alternate arrangements with your teacher at Henry Anderson Music School. You are expected to attend all lessons that are expected to occur in the month, except for lessons that occur on national holidays or that have been canceled in advance with Henry Anderson Music School.
2. Tuition
Please view the Tuition Info page for our current lesson fees.
3. Monthly Payments
Payments are made on a monthly basis due in advance on the first lesson of each month. The amount due in each month will be the number of lessons in that month multiplied by the lesson tuition rate.
Lesson registration is accepted on an on-going basis. You may start lessons anytime and the tuition will be pro-rated for the balance of that monthly billing cycle and resume with the regular monthly tuition on the next monthly billing cycle.
Payments are accepted via cash or checks. Bounced checks will result in a $20 fee.
4. Cancellations
To cancel a lesson, we require at least 24 hours notice in advance of your lesson time. Any missed lessons without at least 24 hours notice will be non-refundable.
5. Make-Up Lessons
Make-up lessons will only be provided if the cancellation policies are met and are subject to teacher availability. When no make-up times are available, you will receive a credit for the missed lesson on your next bill.
6. Termination Policy
IMPORTANT: When requesting a package termination, the system currently looks at who initiates (begins) the termination request regardless of the reason for termination.
Scenario A - Student Initiates Termination of the Package
Written notice for 4 consecutive lessons is required to withdraw from lessons. Written notice may be given by email to ChienMusicStudio@Gmail.Com or by letter submitted to Henry or Anderson. The 4-lesson period commences upon receipt of the Withdrawal Form. Tuition is payable for the duration of the 4-lesson period whether lessons are attended or not.
Scenario B - Teacher Initiates Termination of the Package
Henry Anderson Music School refunds any remaining classes left for the student. It takes approximately 5 to 7 business days for refunds to be processed.
7. Trial Lesson Policy
Henry Anderson Music School offers one free first 45-minute trial lesson for first time students. There is no obligation to sign up for lessons following the trial lesson, and as such you have the option to discontinue lessons with the teacher after the first trial lesson. The teacher also has an option to discontinue lessons with the students after the first lesson. Free lessons are limited to one per student.
8. Music Books and Materials
Music books, materials, and instruments are not included in the tuition and you will be responsible for paying for the materials. Your teacher will provide the music books, and they are yours to keep. The amount due for music books will be added to your bill for that month. Depending on a student’s level and progression, the prices and frequency of new materials will vary.
9. Media Release
You grant Henry Anderson Music School the right to use your or your child's image, video, name and/or associated media for the purpose of marketing and/or business use. These media elements may be used on ads, websites, social media, or in other audio-visual media. You assign all rights regarding the media elements to Henry Anderson Music School, who will own the media elements.
