Anderson Chien
Anderson graduated from University of British Columbia majoring in History. He began studying piano at the age of four and violin at the age of six. During his college years, he studied both baroque and modern violin under Jonathan Der, a renowned violinist and also a respected orchestral conductor of the Delta Youth Orchestra and classical and modern piano under Betty Feng, a piano specialist at Prelude Music Studio. Anderson pursued and achieved full musicianship training from The Royal Conservatory of Music including: composition, conducting, history, listening, and theory.
Anderson has effectively assisted many students in his 6 years of teaching. He can patiently and flexibly arrange his lessons’ speed and materials to the capability of each student to make sure they learn, understand, practice, play, and perform on their musical instrument well and successfully.
